There are about 200 'real' users on the forum and 30,000!! fakes so I decided to delete some. It went wrong and unfortunatly some people might have to join again, pain in the ass I know.
Another huge issue is the forums future, the years up and it's time to renew the contract. These days posts are few and far between as everyone can keep in touch via other means (eg Facebook), so do I carry on?
After thinking about it I'm going to keep the place going as it would be a shame to lose all the info posted over the years.

Neil

Please keep it going, I don't post as much as I used to but I still pop in most nights.

I think that this forum is invaluable and would have been lost many times without it!

Hi ya,

I agree that the information from previous posts is worth keeping. Also some of the banter which makes me smile. I too check in every few days. Keep up the good work Neil.

Best wishes,

Sarah

I'm a bit late to this post - but do normally check the site daily, and most definitely agree with the above!. The MD Forum is a great site and is my first stop when posting for advice and sharing my experiences Cool

I for one don't use Facebook to share my mobility related questions or share experiences (my Facebook contacts include family/friends, work colleagues and other acquaintances, so they are not really the people I would want to share these issues with). The Action Duchenne forum is very good, but it is quite specific to DMD. For me, the MD Forum is really the only (and best!) site to share all things MD related (spanning issues from children to adults with neuromuscular conditions).

This place is so important. It's been starting point and a place to "meet" others who understand what you are going through at a difficult time. This is where you can begin to cope & understand and gain information.
I hope it does continue. And I hope things build up again.
Made some great friends on here. Big (((hugs))) to all of them xxx
