My latest idea is to have sort of a mini auction over on Action Duchenne. (ww.actionduchenne.org)
I am auctioning a piece of art I made on my computer called 'Light on the Waves'.
It feautures a deeply red coloured lighthouse boat moored up next to some modern housing coloured in blues and yellows and greys and lovely warm oranges. I'll be giving the winner a signed print of this painting approximately 10 by 15 inches in size.
This auction runs from midnight the 9th of June to midnight the 10th July.
To enter please visit this following link to my shout/blog page- http://www.actionduchenne.org/stopwasting/iangriff/news/268/bid-for-a-print---light-on-the
On the page scroll down to the comments box and enter your Name, your Email and how much you would like to bid.
You don't need to pay yet, only the winner will need too on the event page I've set up, after the 10th of July.
Any money left on the event page during the month will only be a donation your bids are only valid and counted if left on my BLOG/SHOUT page.
Thanks everyone!

hey Ian,
just wanted to say how cool all your artwork is - you really have some talent!
I think the auction idea is great - good luck with it.
By the way, are you still working on your book? how is it coming along? I've thought about doing the same at some point, would be good to know how youre doing with yours. I don't know if I could find enough to write about, but then when I did my blog for my holiday I found that when I started writing I couldn't stop!
best wishes

Hi Jon,
Thank you so much for saying I have some talent. Art/painting is really fun and full of thinking. Thanks for the best wishes
I've finished the writing for my book, 92,216 words in all. Yes I'm exactly the same, once I'm writing I just let it all flow at its desciptive best. I found I could write about a thousand words a day but i spread it over 10 months to write it. Its far harder finding a publisher though, my quest continues there but i'm not giving up.
I would say deffo write things down mate its well worth it, but it was far more work than I thought lol Have fun.
